alpine roots compost living soil

slow-cured, premium compost and living soil solutions.

Right here on the Front Range.

We work with local farmers here on the front range to reduce their waste and produce fungal-dominant vermicompost to bring life back into soil.

what we Do

We collect agricultural waste from a variety of sources- farms, mushroom growers, ranches, and more- and let nature do the work. Our compost matures in a static, passively aerated pile undisturbed. This allows biology to proliferate, and fungal networks to emerge. It’s a slow process, but like a fine wine, it gets better with time. This results in a high-fungal, premium compost that restore life back to soils.
